About
36rkn.link started as a weekend project: I was tired of pasting three-line tracking URLs into chats, and public shorteners kept adding interstitial ads and analytics I didn't ask for.
So this is the opposite. A tiny server, a list of redirects, a plain hit counter and nothing else. Links are created by hand for people I know and for a couple of side projects.
How it works
Each short code maps to one destination. When you open a link the server answers with a redirect — no JavaScript, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Codes are case-sensitive and never reused.
Uptime
It runs on a single small VPS in Northern Europe. It's been boringly stable, but there is no SLA — please don't build anything critical on it.
Wallpaper
People asked about the background in the link previews, so here it is. Free to use.
